Iguazú

IGUAZÚ FALLS

 

The Iguazú Falls, declared one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature, are formed by 275 cascades that fall from the most diverse heights. The highest is known as the Devil’s Throat. It is an area of more than 2 km of waterfalls that surpass 70 meters in height, a spectacular manifestation of one of the resources more scarce of the planet: the water.

Within the Iguazú National Park, the tour to the falls area requires the full day. It is possible to enjoy water rides and safaris, as well as the ecological train of the jungle.

The Full Moon nights become a unique spectacle, in which visitors have the possibility to take guided walks in the light of our natural satellite five days a month.

The menue of AQVA highlights the meats and products of the region, such as river fish from Paraná and Iguazú rivers: Surubí, Dorado and Pacú. We complete our menu with exclusive pasta, such as surubi ravioli, and some creations especially made with chicken, pork and lamb.

The desserts are a separate chapter, made with chocolate, passion fruit, mango and other sweetness. The dessert of Yerba Mate is an exclusivity of our proposal.

Iguazú en Concierto. Iguazú Convention Bureau

Iguazú in Concert is a mega-music festival that brings together hundreds of children and young people from all over the world in a wonderful natural setting: the Iguazú Falls.

In its eight editions, Iguazú in Concert has united more than 4,000 children from countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, the United States, Italy, France, Germany, South Africa, China, Russia, Australia, Singapore, Trinidad and Tobago, Korea, and Israel, among many others.

GASTRONOMIC WEEK:

Semana Gastronómica. Iguazú Convention Bureau

During the Gastronomic Week various activities are offered. Seven days where gastronomy and art are the main characters. Each edition has the participation of renowned national chefs. The restaurants of Iguazu city offer a circuit of local cuisine.

MERCOSUR HANDCRAFTS FAIR:

Feria de Artesanias del Mercosur. Iguazú Convention Bureau

It summons more than 130 exhibitors from the different countries that make up the MERCOSUR. The first edition was held in 2010.

Among the articles, you can see wooden toys, glassfusion, gifts, leather wallets and bags, puppets, dolls, planters, clothing, regional products, foodstuffs, wooden utilities, rings, necklaces with different stones, agendas and folders made with material recycling; among others.

MERCOSUR DANCE FESTIVAL:

Festival de Danzas del Mercosur. Iguazú Convention Bureau

It is a special show in which different styles of dance appear on the stage. Young people from all MERCOSUR countries participate. At closing, awards are given to the most outstanding numbers.
